Terms of Service

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account on Auctron (auctron.in), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. WHAT AUCTRON IS

Auctron is an invoicing tool that helps freelancers and small business owners create, send, and track invoices. We are not a payment processor — payments are handled by Stripe, Inc.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Auctron.
• One person or business per account.

4. WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Create and send invoices to your clients
• Accept payments through your connected Stripe account
• Store client and invoice data
• Use AI features within your plan limits

5. WHAT YOU CANNOT DO

• Use Auctron for illegal transactions
• Send invoices for goods or services that violate any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse engineer the software
• Share your account with other people
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the platform

6. PAYMENTS AND BILLING

Your subscription is billed monthly or annually as chosen at signup. All payments are processed by Paddle (our merchant of record) or Stripe. Prices are shown in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. FREE PLAN

The free plan is provided as-is with no guarantees of continued availability. We may change free plan limits at any time with reasonable notice.

8. YOUR DATA

You own your invoice data. We store it to provide the service. We never sell it. See our Privacy Policy for full details and GDPR rights.

9. UPTIME AND AVAILABILITY

We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or service issues.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Auctron's software, design, and brand belong to us. Your invoice content and business data belong to you.

11. TERMINATION

You can cancel your account anytime from settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you can export your data within 30 days.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Auctron is not liable for:

• Lost revenue due to service downtime
• Payment disputes between you and your clients
• Errors in tax calculations
• Actions taken by Stripe or Paddle

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms. We will email you 30 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use after that means acceptance.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
